Skellig Six18 Distillery & Visitor Experience draws inspiration from 6th century monks who carved 618 steps into Skellig Rock, reaching their monastery, now a UNESCO world heritage site, this fusion of past & present offers a window into whiskey & gin production against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. The distillery houses maturation sheds with hundreds of Irish whiskey casks & a gin distillery, showcasing craftsmanship.
Portmagee Whiskey crafts small batches of Irish Whiskey for the world to enjoy. Founded by two brothers, John & James Murphy, our people are passionate and proud of Portmagee and together we seek to grow in harmony with our village, providing opportunity and adventure for future generations of our community. With their Port cask finished Liberator Whiskey range made from barley grown and matured on their Estate, this family business operates from the Killarney lakeside property it has inhabited for over 900 years. The Liberator is inspired by ancestors who defied convention and unjust laws to do things their own way and Wayward Irish Spirits are uncompromising in their quest for quality and flavour.
